THE ASSAM GOVT HAS FINALLY AGREED TO HOLD TALKS WITH PEOPLE'S ORGANIZATION ON THE ISSUE OF MEGA DAM IN LOWER SUBHANSIRI AREA THAT PEOPLE ARE OPPOSING SINCE LAST ONE MONTH. THE ANTI DAM MOVEMENT LED BY KMSS AND AASU HAS PRESSURIZED GOVT TO LISTEN TO PEOPLE'S RESISTANCE AGAINST CONSTRUCTION OF SUCH BIG DAMS. THE GROUP OF MINISTER AND THE PEOPLE'S ORGANIZATION REPRESENTATIVE WILL TALK ACROSS THE TABLES ON 5TH JANUARY IN GAUHWATI.
