DELHI GOVT GUIDELINES ON NURSERY ADMISSIONS - LOTTERY FOR PVT SCHOOLS - CONFUSION FOR PARENTS - INJUSTICE TO CHILDREN - Schools have been given free hand to formulate their own admission criteria thereby categorize the parents - In other words, any two children will not be given equal opportunity and one would be given preference over the other - These guidelines though purported to have been issued under RTE Act, 2009 but in reality the same utterly violate the letters and spirit of the Act - Nothing has been said about the minimum entry age for a child in a formal school system - Govt has simply protected the commercial interests of the school managements at the cost of the hapless parents/students.
